Wichita Art Museum chief curator resigns
The chief curator of the Wichita Art Museum is resigning effective Monday.
The Wichita Eagle reports Stephen Gleissner cited personal reasons for his departure. He was promoted to chief curator in 2001.
Gleissner has a special interest in decorative arts and artistic glass. The museum added more than 500 pieces of glass art during his tenure.
Museum Director Patricia McDonnell said the organization will conduct a national search for Gleissner's replacement.
