Employees robbed at south Wichita video store
Wichita Police are looking for two robbers who held up employees at a south Wichita video store early Monday. It happened around 12:30 a.m. at a Family Video store 1759 South Hillside.
Lieutenant Doug Nolte said two employees were leaving the store when a gold Buick LeSabre pulled up in the parking lot. There were two men in the car, and one of them stepped out and took a bank bag and cash from the employees. The robbers also got car keys, but they did not take any vehicles from the parking lot.
Nolte said both robbers had shotguns, and the one who stepped out of the car was described as a white male in his early 20s, around 5-feet-6-inches tall. He was wearing a black and blue jacket and blue jeans. Both men were wearing bandanas over their faces.
No one was hurt.
