Gunman robs 2 clerks at Wichita business
A gunman took cash from two clerks at a Dollar General store in east Wichita Sunday evening. It happened around 8:40 p.m. at a store in the 2000 block of East 21st.
Wichita Police Lieutenant Doug Nolte said the man walked in and demanded money from the clerks at two registers, but then he hid when customers came into the store. When the customers left, the gunman came back out and took the cash, then he got away on foot.
The gunman was described as an African-American man wearing all black clothing. No one was hurt.
