Convicted killer escapes from jail in Salina
A man convicted in the beating death of a 14-month-old boy has escaped from the Saline County Jail, just one day before he was to be sentenced.
Antonio Brown, Sr., 29, escaped from the jail in Salina around 4:15 p.m. Monday. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Brown pleaded no contest in January to first degree murder and child abuse charges in the 2011 beating death of his girlfriend's 14-month-old son, Clayden Urbanek.
