Three abducted from Royal Lodge
Two women and one man, all 22 years old, report they were kidnapped at gunpoint from the Royal Lodge on east Kellogg.
Two men, 23 and 30 years old, armed with a gun and knife, forced the three into a white truck Monday morning. The captors then drove the three more than 500 miles, to Salida, Colo.
Once in Salida, the three captives were able to take the truck and get away. They drove the truck until it was out of gas. Fremont County, Colorado Sheriffs found the escaped captives and reported the abduction to Wichita Police.
The 30-year-old suspect was caught and arrested in Colorado. Wichita and Colorado authorities are working to find the 23-year-old.
