Walmart purse snatcher arrested
A man stole a woman's purse from the parking lot of the east Kellogg Walmart Monday night.
Witnesses watched the man get into a car drive off. Witnesses called 911 and reported the car's license plate number.
The tag number led police to a home in the 4200 block of East Clark, where they waited for the car. Two men were inside the car when it pulled up. One ran when he saw police, but was caught. The other gave up. Police found the stolen purse in the car, along with property from the Family Video that had been robbed Monday, just after midnight.
The two were booked into jail for both robberies. The shotguns from the Family Video robbery were also recovered from the house.
