New Salvation Army City Commander in Wichita
The Salvation Army in Wichita welcomed its new city commander.
Major Glen Caddy and his wife, Major Carole Caddy, arrived in Wichita earlier this month.
“We are honored to have the leadership of Majors Glen and Carole Caddy,” said Wayne Wallace, The Salvation Army in Wichita’s current advisory board chair. “Their experience and expertise will help us continue in our efforts to serve Wichitans in need.”
The Caddys replace Majors Doug Rowland and his wife, Major Janet Rowland, now operating the Army's Kansas and Western Missouri Headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.
“Carole and I are excited to join the Wichita community and provide guidance, encouragement and support for The Salvation Army’s social services here,” Glen said.
