Police catch hit-and-run driver
Wichita police took a man into custody after a hit and run accident in the northeast part of the city. A car ran into the back of another vehicle around noon Thursday at 21st and Webb Road. The car then sped into a parking lot and almost hit a pedestrian. Two men jumped from the car and ran, but officers caught one of them at 21st and Greenwich Road. Police sergeant Bruce Watts said witnesses in the neighborhood reported seeing the men running to the east. The man believed to be the driver was caught inside the Cabela's store, and he was booked into jail on felony warrants.

No one was hurt in the incident.
