Wichita police are looking into a reported case of child endangerment after a call to 911. Lieutenant Doug Nolte said officers went to a southeast Wichita home around 3:30 a.m. Friday after a neighbor reported concerns about two young children.

Nolte said officers found a 1-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl alone in the home. The youngsters were taken out of the home, but it's not known if they were placed in protective custody or turned over to the care of family members.

Nolte said police have talked to the parents of the children, but no arrests have been made.
