Man shot while horseplaying with friend
A 20-year-old man walked into Wesley Medical Center after he was shot in the foot by his 17-year-old friend while they were horsing around.
Wichita police Sgt. Bruce Watts said the incident happened in the 3000 block of East Carmen around 2 p.m. Friday.
The man originally told police he was the victim of a a drive-by shooting, but later recanted the story.
The 17-year-old teenager was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
