Two men arrested after stabbing in Hutchinson

A stabbing resulted in two Hutchinson men being arrested.

It happened just before midnight at a house located at 633 East 4th Street in Hutchinson. Police said several people forced open the door of the home, where Jeffrey Payne was attacked and stabbed. 

Payne was taken to a Hutchinson hospital by car and later flown to an undisclosed  Wichita hospital for treatment. His current condition is not known. 

Police said 22 year-old, Jordan Leshore of 223 West Ave B in Hutchinson, was arrested for suspicion of attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. He remains in the Reno County Detention Center on over a half-million dollar bond.

Another suspect identified as, Sean Arevalo, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, conspiracy to commit aggravated battery and felony interference with law enforcement and is being held on $16,500.00 bond.

The Hutchinson Police also want to talk with four other men about the case. They're identified as Joseph Leshore, Desmond Cantu, Troy Bell and John  Cantu. Anyone who knows where these men are should call police at 620-694-2832 or call Crime stoppers of Reno County at 1-800-222-TIPS.
