Airline flights cancelled because of winter storm
The winter storm that moved into Wichita early Wednesday has caused a number of flights to be cancelled out of Mid-Continent Airport.
A statement from the city says the airport is still open and the runways are being continuously plowed and treated, but passengers with flight plans are urged to check with their airlines before going to the airport.
The status of arriving and departing flights can also be checked on the web site www.flywichita.com through the Flight Information link.
