Bank robbed in Winfield

A man wearing dark sunglasses and a grey stocking cap with a Batman logo with pigtails hanging out robbed the CornerBank in Winfield.

It happened about 11 a.m. at 1905 East 9th Avenue. Police said the man presented a note to the bank teller, who gave him an undisclosed amount of cash.
 
The man is described as white, between 40-50 years old, 150 pounds and bout 5-feet-8-inches tall. He was wearing a light gray jacket with yellow accents, blue jeans and black tennis shoes or boots.
 
He was seen leaving the area in an older box style gray or silver passenger car.
