Gunman robs north Wichita store
Wichita Police are looking for a gunman who took cash from a Family Dollar store in north Wichita Sunday evening.
The man walked into the store at 1341 North Grove around 8 p.m. and pointed a gun at the clerk. Lieutenant Doug Nolte said the clerk turned over some money, and the gunman ran from the store. No one was hurt.
The gunman was described as an African-American man around 40-45 years of age, 5-feet-5-inches tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, and had a stocking cap on with eye holes cut out.
