Emergency Accident Reporting Plan in effect for Wichita, Derby
The Emergency Accident Reporting Plan, or EARP, is in effect for the cities of Derby and Wichita, but not for unincorporated areas of Sedgwick County.
If you are involved in an accident Tuesday, you can exchange identification and insurance information with any other drivers and fill out an accident reporting form within 24 hours. EARP only applies to accidents in which all vehicles are drivable and that do not involve injuries or intoxicated drivers.
Accident forms are available online, at area QuikTrip stores and at Wichita police substations between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
