Cowley County to host two-day job fair
Job seekers will get a chance to talk with businesses looking for workers across Cowley County.
A job fair will be held March 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Baden Square, located at 700 Gary in Winfield. Another job fair will be held March 7 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cowley College Wright Room located at 215 S. Second in Ark City.
Currently, there are more than 300 job openings at businesses across the county, with positions ranging from CNC operators to paramedics and firefighters.
Applicants will have the chance to interview on-site with potential employers, as well as receive assistance on their resume and job search from the South Central Kansas Workforce Alliance.
