Police arrest man after family argument in south Wichita
Wichita Police were looking for a 30-year-old man after a family argument turned violent in a south Wichita neighborhood.
Lieutenant Doug Nolte said it happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday in the 2600 block of South Jewett. He said a man was apparently upset about having to go back to prison, and he struck his 27-year-old brother with a baseball bat. He then got into a car and rammed a vehicle belonging to his 23-year-old sister.
The brother was taken to a hospital to receive stitches for a head injury. The sister was not hurt.
