Three people pass counterfeit $100 bills in Arkansas City

The Arkansas City Police Department needs help to find three people who passed a number of fake $100 bills.

Chief of Police Sean Wallace said the trio passed the funny money around in area businesses. He said the suspects entered three Arkansas City retail stores on Feb. 26 and made purchases using the bills, later found to be counterfeit. 

The first suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds. He has light, short brown or red hair with a mustache.

The second suspect is a white female in her 20s, about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and 140-150 pounds. She has medium length, curly dark brown hair.

The third suspect is African-American man in his 20s, about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and 130 pounds.

The suspects were last seen in a silver, early 2000s model Chevrolet Impala or similar vehicle.
