Man beaten up and robbed outside NE Wichita Sprint store
A man was jumped and robbed of his wallet and cell phone in northeast Wichita Saturday evening.
Wichita police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen says the incident happened outside of the Sprint store near 29th and Rock road.
Witnesses tell police the victim was outside of the store when four men in their 20's confronted the him, then started beating him up. The suspects left the store in a white, 4-door, Honda Accord.
The victim was taken to Wesley Medical Center and treated for scrapes and bruises.
