Baby girl injured by hot furnace grate
An 8-month-old girl was rushed to the burn center at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis after she apparently walked across a hot furnace grate at a home.
The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of South Waco.
The girl was taken to the hospital with first-degree burns to her feet and legs.
The Wichita Police Department is investigating.
