Andover chooses new school superintendent
The Andover school board voted unanimously to name Greg Rasmussen as the new superintendent of schools. He was one of three finalists being considered.
Rasmussen has been the superintendent in Middletown, Ohio for the past three years. He previously served in the Wichita school district for nine years as the executive director of instructional technology and later as assistant superintendent.
In a statement, Andover school board president Roger Elliott said Rasmussen has the right mix of educational experience over a 25-year period.
The Andover district, USD 385, has 5,500 students.
