Wichita company making a difference with Clinic in a Can
Sending a complete medical facility to a distant land sounds like something out of a science fiction novel, but it is a real venture in Wichita.
Clinic in a Can sends a 40-foot-cubed shipping container with the insides transformed into fully functioning medical clinics all across the world.
"Getting a Clinic in a Can is like getting a U.S. made doctor's office sent right to you. Drop it down and open it up and it's ready to go," Assistant Director Daniel White said.
Clinic in a Can is sending a radiology clinic to Sierra Leone, Africa on Wednesday.
