Man's body found months after fire
Maintenance workers at Southfield Apartments, located in the 3100 of George Washington Boulevard, found the body of a man while clearing out an apartment Tuesday afternoon. They were removing debris left from a fire in December.
When fire crews cleared the apartment several months ago, they did not find a body inside the apartment.
Residents of the complex say the man's home was known to be cluttered, which may have made spotting a body difficult.
The case is under investigation.
