Human remains found in Cowley County
A tree trimming crew found human remains in a rural area of Cowley County on Monday.
Sheriff's deputies were called to 146th Road, northwest of Winfield, to look for evidence. Our news partners at KWCH Channel 12 report that a forensic anthropologist and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are working with Cowley County on the case.
There is no indication of foul play at this time.
