MVC announces women's basketball all conference teams

The Missouri Valley Conference announced its women's basketball all-conference teams.
Wichita State's Jessica Diamond was a repeat selection as Frist Team All-Missouri Valley Conference. Diamond was also earlier named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Scholar Athlete second team.
Diamond was also second-team last season and is the first Shocker to earn a spot on the Scholar-Athlete Team in back-to-back seasons since Marcy Sudbeck earned honorable mentions in 2006-07 & 2007-08, then earned first team honors in 2008-09.
In addition to her Psychology major, Diamond minors in Sociology and Creative Writing. On the court, Diamond leads the team in scoring and is second in steal and assists. She has 1,397 career points to rank seventh in Wichita State history.
