Autopsy scheduled on body found in south Wichita apartment
A man's body was found by maintenance crews in a southside apartment complex after a recent fire. The body will undergo an autopsy in Wichita.
Fire Marshall Brad Crisp said it was believed the man was out of town. Crisp said the apartment was cluttered due to storage when the electrical fire was discovered in the bedroom last December.
The Wichita Police Department and Sedgwick County Coroner's Office will assist with the investigation. The man's name has not been released until relatives have been notified.
