Jail inmate accused of sickening assault
An inmate at the Sedgwick County Jail has lost multiple priviledges after allegedly tossing feces at a detention deputy.
Officials say the 47-year-old man was being uncooperative and refusing to remove his hand from the "beanhole" - the tray slot in a cell door. That's when the man allegedly threw the disgusting waste through the slot. He is also accused of flooding the cell with water.
The incident happened as inmates were being served meals at 1:15 p.m. Monday. The case has been referred to the District Attorney's office for possible charges.
