Argonia woman killed in Sumner County crash
An Argonia woman was killed Wednesday when her car collided with a semi and then went into a ditch and overturned in Sumner County. The crash was reported around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 160, about a mile east of Argonia.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 57-year-old Linda Haskin was dead at the scene. Her car was goint west when it crossed the center line and hit a semi, then it went into a ditch, hit a guard rail and flipped onto its top.
Two passengers were hospitalized. Samantha Haskin, 21, of Argonia was taken to a Wichita hospital. A 3-month-old boy, Keegan Barkley, was hospitalized at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
The driver of the semi, 30-year-old Jeremy Perry of Valley Center, was not injured.
