South Wichita shooting
A man in south Wichita shot at a car after being flashed a gun by one of the passengers.
The incident occurred in the 1200 block of south Minnesota around 11 p.m. Wednesday night, after the driver of a car swerved near the man.
" The 22-year-old man heard a noise and went out to see what was going on," Lieutenant Joe Schroeder said. He saw a man with a handgun getting into a vehicle with two other suspects.
" The victim then discharged one round at the car possibly hitting it, as the car sped away. Schroeder said. Police are currently interviewing witnesses in the area to gather more information.
