Ex-Oklahoma QB killed in plane crash in Indiana
(AP) It appears one of the two men killed in a plane crash in Indiana yesterday was once a college football star.
The county coroner identifies the victims as 60-year-old Steven Davis and 58-year-old Wesley Caves, both of Tulsa, Okla. A University of Oklahoma official says it's the same Davis who quarterbacked the Sooners' national championship teams in 1974 and 1975.
The two men died when their small jet slammed into a house southwest of South Bend. Two others on board survived while a woman on the ground was injured.
