Man arrested in Wichita road rage incident
A man and his family were startled when they were confronted in traffic by a man who pulled a gun on them. Wichita police arrested a 20-year-old man who was apparently mad because someone cut him off in traffic two days earlier.
"It can be best described as a road rage incident in which one cut the other off," said Police Lt. Doug Nolte. "It was unintentional."
A man was in his car with his family Tuesday afternoon when the suspect reported pulled up to them near I-235 and Broadway. The man called 911 and police quickly caught up with the other car. The driver was eventually arrested. A passenger was interviewed and allowed to go home.
