Wichita Police nab suspect in southside robberies
A man matching the description for three robberies in south Wichita is being held and questioned by police.
Between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, a Sonic, QuikTrip and a Spangles - all on South Broadway - were robbed.
The man in custody was picked up in the area after the robbery at the Spangles. Wichita Police Lt. Doug Nolte said the man matches descriptions from the robberies a few hours earlier. Witnesses in all three described the robber as a African-American man in his 30s.
