Similar suspect described in three robberies

They could be tied to a robbery at a south Wichita

Three businesses were robbed across Wichita on Wednesday. A similar suspect is described in each crime.

A salon near Douglas and Seneca was robbed around 10:25 a.m.

Autism Avenue Flower & Gift Shoppe, at 13th and Meridian, was robbed just after noon.

The Taco Grande, near Pawnee and Seneca, was robbed at 9 p.m.

In each robbery., the suspect is described as a black man in his 40's, wearing a camouflage jacket, gray hoodie, and jeans. In the Taco Grande robbery, the suspect's car is described as a white or gray Buick.

A robbery on Monday, at a south Wichita bakery, involves a similar suspect in a stolen Buick Century. That car is a 2001 model, with a Kansas tag of 112-GBJ. The suspect and car were caught on security cameras.

Wichita police say they're not absolutely sure all the robberies are connected, but they're looking into the possibility because the suspect descriptions match up for the most part.

Photos from the robberies on Wednesday have not been released.

You're asked to call police if you spot the stolen car, or a suspicious person matching this description.
