At Issue- July 17, 2011

Work is under way on a memorial to local veterans of World War II. The memorial will be placed in Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Wichita, where it will tie together eight other memorials to members of military units that were part of the war. In this week's At Issue, KFDI's Phil White visits with local veteran Phil Blake, who has been working for the past decade to lead the effort to raise money for the memorial. We will also hear comments last week's ground breaking ceremony at the site of the memorial.
