At Issue - February 26th, 2012
KFDI Reporter George Lawson talks about a vote scheduled in Wichita on Feb. 28, 2012, in which citizens will decide if developers will be allowed to use guest tax rebates to help finance a project to convert a downtown building into a boutique hotel. Lawson interviews guests on both sides of the issue. Tulsa developer Paul Kouri is in favor of the program. Bob Weeks is against it. Weeks is chairmain of Tax Fairness for all Wichitans, a group that was formed to oppose the financing plan.
