The 30th Annual Kansas Special Olympics takes place this year with over 3,000 athletes at Wichita State University June 3rd. The Law Enforcement Torch Run, is a series of statewide runs carrying the torch throughout the state is already underway to officially light the cauldron to open the 2011 Summer Games in Wichita. Approximately 900 officers from 85 agencies will carry the " Flame of Hope" over the next few days. Spokesman Robert Sanderson spoke with KFDI's John Wright about the Torch Run on the Sports Report.
