The 41st Annual KFDI Christmas Crusade For Children

Thanks to our community partner

Use our secure Virtual Angel Tree any time to select local children to shop for.

What is the KFDI Christmas Crusade For Children?

For over 40 years, children in the Wichita area who otherwise would not get gifts still experience the magic of Christmas thanks to the generosity of the KFDI family of listeners.

KFDI, with the help of The Salvation Army and the Wichita Police Department, identifies needy children and asks our listeners to "play Santa" for a child or two during the Christmas season.

Each year, one thousand or more children are helped!

What do I do after I buy gifts for my Christmas Angel?

Bring your new and unwrapped gift to the KFDI studio, 4200 No. Old Lawrence Road, Wichita (that is just north of 37th & Broadway North on the frontage road to the east of the railroad tracks.)

Christmas Crusade Drop Off Hours begin Monday, 11/30

Monday - Friday 9:00am to 6pm

Saturdays 10:00am - 4pm.

Volunteers from The Wichita Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association will collect the toys.

The toys will be delivered to your Christmas Angel by the Wichita Police Department, or distributed through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.

An Important Message

The Salvation Army coordinates the list of children for the KFDI Christmas Crusade.  All children have been determined to be eligible for the program and are not receiving gifts or assistance from any other agency.  Christmas Crusade does not accept names of children or requests for assistance on the hotline.  If you feel you need assistance for the holidays, please contact Inter-Faith Ministries Operation Holiday for possible assistance information.

Christine Eberle, WCPAAA volunteer and 2015 Christmas Crusade Coordinator.  Thank you Christine for your unbelievable dedication to this project!
