Tiny’s Weekend In 5 Pictures 10/12-10/18

What a weekend. The weather didn’t cooperate much for us to get out and do a lot, but it stayed nice when we needed it to.

It all started with this week’s Friday Night Pies delivery. This week we went to Derby and it was a Superhero theme because they were raising money for Wichita’s Littlest Heroes. Lots of energy from the Den and they are in a solid running for our Spirit Award.

Saturday morning was the Walk To End Alzheimer’s at Intrust Bank Arena. This was the first year the walk was INSIDE and I’m sure a lot of people woke up on Saturday and were very happy because of it.

Saturday afternoon means college football. Notre Dame to be specific. And after everything that we did at the walk I was ready to just go home and veg on the couch.

Sunday we stayed in most of the morning because of the rain but went out grocery shopping in the afternoon and I was shocked at how fast it got so cold. My car’s computer is programed in a way that if the temp drops below 40 the seat and steering wheel warmers automatically come on. I never would have thought that they would have come on as early as October 14th.

Cold weather means comfort food. This is a cheeseburger soup I started making a few years ago. Tastes JUST like a McDonald’s cheeseburger. It’s super good and that perfect dinner when the air gets that chill in it.

Hope you had a good weekend too. Thanks for looking at my blog.
