What a weekend. From an impromptu date night to a going away party for some neighbors that moved away, it felt like it was nonstop.
Friday night after our final Friday Night Pies delivery my wife an I stopped for an impromptu date night. All she wanted was dessert, so we stopped at BJ’s Brewhouse and got some Pizookies. Get in my belly!
I woke up early on Saturday and went out to play golf. There is just something about being the first one out on the golf course as the sun comes up. This is hole number 1 at Auburn Hills.
Saturday afternoon our neighbors asked us if we could watch their baby while they finished up a few things after the movers left with all their stuff. Atlas, the baby, was a little fussy until he ate and then basically slept for the next 2 hours. I got this parenting thing DOWN!!
KFDI was out at Pumpkins At The Park at Tanganyika Saturday afternoon. It was cool to see the park transform into Halloween. There were a few things that weren’t quite as scary in the daylight so we are definitely going back some night.
Saturday night there was a going away party for our neighbors and I made a key lime pie. I walked into the kitchen to get another drink and I saw someone cut themselves a piece of pie, except they cut it like THIS. I understand maybe you wanted a small piece, but C’MON!!
