A man charged in a fatal crash just northwest of Wichita has made an appearance in court to face charges of involuntary manslaughter.
35-year-old James Dalrymple is charged with two felony counts of involuntary manslaughter and a misdemeanor count of failing to yield the right of way. He was driving a pickup that collided with a motorcycle on the night of April 27th near 21st Street North and 167th Street West. The crash killed a father and son on the motorcycle, 37-year-old off-duty Wichita police officer Stacy Woodson and his nine-year-old son Braeden.
Attorneys will meet with a judge to discuss the case on December 13th, and a preliminary hearing date is expected to be set at that time. A bond of $100,000 has been set for Dalrymple.
