Sedgwick County commission chairman David Dennis said Wednesday it’s time to move ahead with an investigation into county commission decisions and activities. He said he will work with commissioner Richard Ranzau, who called for the investigation, and acting county counselor Mike Pepoon to determine the focus of the investigation.
Commissioners approved an investigation into personnel matters in October and also agreed to begin an investigation of the commission. Dennis said an investigation last year found nothing with regard to the commission, but commissioner Jim Howell said he is not satisfied with the report and he will continue to raise questions about it.
