Two men have been charged with first degree murder in the killing of an 88-year-old man at his Wichita home.
Floyd Gilbert was found dead in his home on November 29th in the 2200 block of West MacArthur. Police learned that his car was missing and they were able to track it down and take two men into custody.
36-year-old Austin Stewart and 54-year-old Landon Onek have been charged with first degree murder, aggravated robbery and theft. They are scheduled for another court appearance on December 13th.
Gilbert’s murder is the 43rd homicide of the year in Wichita.
