A Wichita man will spend 3 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
In a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, 24-year-old Titus Gwess admitted that he was stopped by state troopers in Mullinville for speeding. After a search, troopers found 5.8 pounds of meth in his vehicle, which he admitted to bringing to Kansas from Arizona.
His co-defendant 22-year-old Eric Reyes of Wichita will be sentenced January 28. Another defendant, Allen R. Killion, has a change of plea hearing scheduled for December 17.
