Wichita State held off Southern Miss, 63 to 60, in an exciting finish to the game at Intrust Bank Arena, Saturday afternoon.
Southern Miss lead by one point with 53 seconds left in the game. But, the Shockers were able to pull out the win, moving their record to 6 & 4.
Markis McDuffie and Jaimie Echenique led the way with 17 pts each.
WSU hosts Oral Roberts Wednesday night.
