The Wichita State Shockers lost at VCU, 70 to 54.
Markis McDuffie led the way with 16 points and 5 rebounds, but the Shockers only scored 20 points in the 2nd half after trailing by 3 at halftime.
WSU is now 7 and 5 and enter into the Holiday break. They will begin Conference play at Memphis, Thursday, January 3rd.
