Two people were found dead in a burning vehicle on McConnell Air Force Base overnight.
A spokesperson for the base stated a “fatal vehicle accident” happened at 11:06 Sunday night at the closed 31st St S access point, near George Washington Blvd. Base fire personnel responded and found two people dead at the scene.
The latest info from the base says Team McConnell is working with Wichita Police and the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, and the investigation is ongoing.
