The Hutchinson School Board has chosen Mike Folks to be their new superintendent.
Folks has been the Superintendent of Clay County Schools since September of 2005. He also served as superintendent for Central Heights USD 288 in Richmond, Kansas.
His first day will be July 1. Folks is replacing Gary Price. Price has been superintendent for the past two years, but did not want the position on a long-term basis.
