Wichita police are looking for the person who dumped a dead pit bull in the downtown area.
Someone reported seeing a person dump the dog from a car at Main and Orme, around 9 a.m. Tuesday. The only description of the car so far is that it was a yellow station wagon.
Investigators say the dog showed signs of being used in fights.
Anyone with information that can help lead to an arrest is asked to call police. Anonymous information can also be left with Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
