Retired Wichita police officer Brian Arterburn has been released from a hospital after suffering what his family called a setback almost a week ago.
Arterburn was severely injured trying to stop a stolen car in south Wichita in February, 2017, and he underwent months of rehabilitation in Texas and Colorado before returning home to Wichita. In a statement on the “Wearing Blue For Brian Fridays” Facebook page, it was reported that doctors were looking for “the right balance of meds, and it paid off.” The statement said Brian is fatigued but almost back to himself.
