Federal workers impacted by the ongoing shutdown, and active military, can free tickets to a show at the Orpheum.
Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Showdown, starts at 7:30 tonight. Anyone wanting free tickets will need to show a government ID, and is limited to two tickets per person. Availability is not guaranteed and tickets will need to be picked up at the box office.
“Federal employees are struggling without paychecks and coming to a concert might take their minds off it for an evening. We’re happy to do it,” said Chris LeGrand, who plays “Mick Jagger” in the show.
Wichita is one of 125 stops as the show tours across the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
